Are you a skilled and motivated Electrician looking to make a real difference in your community? Join our dedicated team working to improve homes and lives across Medway.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician to carry out a wide range of electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations across our social housing stock. You will play a vital role in ensuring our residents live in safe, decent homes, working both independently and as part of a responsive maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical repairs, testing, and installations in occupied and void properties.
  • Complete EICRs and remedial works in line with current regulations.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in domestic electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and electrical legislation (e.g., BS 7671).
  • Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and certification using handheld technology.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and residents.

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection (desirable).
  • Experience in domestic installations, including carry out all relevant testing to comply with BS7671.
  • Previous experience in social housing, local authority, or domestic maintenance (desirable).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (van provided).
