We’re looking for an approachable and proactive HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team. You’ll be working closely with managers across the organisation, helping them navigate everything from employee relations to resourcing, while making sure our HR practices are fair, consistent and supportive. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy variety, building relationships, and making a real difference to people’s day‑to‑day work experience. You’ll be part of a small, friendly HR team where collaboration is key and no two days are quite the same.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting managers with employee relations issues like absence, performance, disciplinaries and grievances
- Handling casework from start to finish, including investigations and outcomes
- Working with our HR Business Partners on HR‑related matters
- Helping make sure our HR policies and processes are applied consistently and in line with UK employment law
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and inductions for new starters
- Delivering HR training and guidance to managers and colleagues
- Keeping HR records up to date and supporting reporting and insights
- Working with our Learning & Development Business Partner to identify training needs
- Getting involved in HR projects and continuous improvement work across the team
What we’re looking for:
- The CIPD Level 5 Qualification (or working towards it)
- Experience in an HR Advisor (or similar) role
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience handling a range of employee relations cases
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- A calm, solutions‑focused approach, even in challenging situations
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for creating a positive workplace
