Our successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Recent experience in a criminal or regulatory enforcement background.

Leading and contributing to the delivery of innovation projects and portfolio responsibilities to enhance criminal enforcement.

Supervising multiple operational support functions including criminal enforcement deployments and responding to crime and incident referrals.

Coordinating responses to external requests including Freedom of Information, DPA, Parliamentary Questions and press.

Developing and maintaining strong working relationships across internal departments, external stakeholders and law enforcement agencies.
We are currently looking for a Senior Criminal Enforcement Officer – Bureau,
Online and Innovation to join our Criminal Enforcement Unit in the Safety &
Surveillance group.
In public health terms, it is likely that the illegal trade in medicines is
the cause of significant, often largely unreported, harm to the UK public. The
MHRA is one of a very small number of regulators globally equipped with a
dedicated criminal enforcement capability. The CEU works in partnership with
cross-sector partners at home and abroad to defeat the illegal trade –
protecting the public and maintaining regulatory integrity.
