Role overview
Maiven is our specialist reputation intelligence team, delivering a growing range of services, including GEO, audience segmentation, trust measurement and synthetic personas.
We are looking for a someone with a proven track record of selling and leading analytics consultancy projects, to deliver high-quality reports and insights.
This role will work with the Head of AI, Data & Insights, and senior MHP Group leadership, to help run a portfolio of mixed-method insight projects, spanning digital and social analytics, audience segmentation and narrative analysis, generative AI / LLM measurement, and broader reputation, trust and communications effectiveness.
The role combines client support, project management and analytical delivery, with a focus on ensuring high-quality outputs and smooth delivery across a fast-growing and evolving area of the business.
The role includes developing client proposals and working as part of pitch teams to sell analytics services, either as a standalone service or as part of integrated strategic communications programme.
This hire will contribute to how we scale data, AI and mixed-method insights products to understand audiences, measure communications performance and respond to a rapidly evolving AI-driven landscape.
Ultimately, you will drive incremental revenue growth from new clients and our existing portfolio of 250 clients.
Your role within the company
Maiven is a virtual team, consisting of experts from across the business.
You will sit within MHP’s ‘Studio’ team of 30 Digital, Strategy and Creative experts.
You will be line-managed by Nick Barron, Deputy CEO and Head of Studio.
Nick is also the senior sponsor for Maiven.
On an operational basis, you will report to MHP’s Head of AI, Data & Insights Nisa Bayindir, and work closely with senior leadership including Head of Strategy Kate Gomes, and Head of Crisis & Risk, Antonia Green.
What you’ll be working on
Projects typically involve combining quantitative, qualitative and digital data sources to understand audiences, narratives and performance; analysing how brands and issues are represented across media, social and AI platforms; designing and developing and analysing natural-language queries based on real audience behaviour; and producing strategic outputs that inform content, messaging and channel strategy.
Work spans ongoing client programmes, strategic insights projects, and rapid ‘dip test’ analysis to support new business.
Key responsibilities
- Client support & delivery
- Support day-to-day delivery across a portfolio of data and insights projects
- Help translate analytical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations through a communications lens
- Contribute to client meetings, presentations and reporting
- Support senior leads in managing client relationships and upselling data, AI and insights solutions tailored to unique client challenges
- Work closely with various practices and disciplines with diverse complex project needs across the agency
- Project management & coordination
- Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, timelines, deliverables and workflow across multiple projects
- Coordinate inputs from analysts, strategists and client teams
- Ensure projects run smoothly across key phases regardless of size/complexity or commercial value
- Run end-to-end project lifecycle management for both existing and prospective client work
- Build or improve deliverable templates and consistency of outputs
- Analytical contribution
- Support the heads of practices audience and narrative analysis, social and digital listening outputs, LLM and GEO analysis, and measurement frameworks
- Turn complex data into clear insight narratives
- Ensure consistency and quality across deliverables
- Work with the Head of AI, Data & Insights in methodology innovation and exploration
- Orchestrate supplier relationship management and exploration of new solutions in the market
- New business & propositions
- Marketing, including thought leadership on the role of analytics and GEO in the communications space
- Support development of proposals and pitch materials, including quick-turn analysis
- Help demonstrate the value of insight-led approaches
- Contribute to shaping and refining products and methodologies
- Train and support junior team members and analysts where needed
- Contribute to internal knowledge base organisation and democratization of best practice
Skills & Experience (Essential)
- 8+ years’ experience in strategy, data, insights, research roles including extensive consultancy for comms or research firms
- Experience with advanced segmentation and analysis
- Experience in AI / LLM-related analysis or emerging digital ecosystems
- Strong understanding of mixed-method research and experience with insights platforms such as GWI, Pulsar, Meltwater, Signal AI, Quid, Roxhill, Muck Rack, and more
- Experience in delivering outputs to senior stakeholders with consistency in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and timelines across Comms disciplines
- Strong communication, storytelling and presentation abilities
- Understanding of communications, reputation, crisis management or integrated media strategy
- Strong track record in data and insights product development, and in connection, business development
Skills & Experience (Desirable)
- Postgraduate level qualification in data science, social sciences, psychology or similar
- Experience with advanced data manipulation and analysis method (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
- Background or certification in AI in the realm of research, data analysis, or insights product development
- Strong understanding and appetite for agentic AI solutions development

- Collaborative and pragmatic attitude in educating and upskilling agency workforce about methodologies and products
- Strong organisational, communication and project management skills
