  • Take accountability for the end‑to‑end digital guest journey across pre‑stay, in‑stay and post‑stay touchpoints.
  • Oversee the delivery of technology for hotel refurbishments, conversions and new openings, including pre‑opening readiness.
  • Define and execute a robust data strategy, covering architecture, governance, quality and lifecycle management.
  • Enable actionable analytics and insight to support pricing, forecasting, performance management and operational decisions.

  • Own the cyber security, data protection and compliance agenda, including GDPR, PCI‑DSS, risk management and audit remediation.
  • Maintain resilient IT operations, infrastructure and disaster recovery across all properties and offices.
  • Act as a senior partner to all central functions including Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Marketing and Operations teams, using technology and data to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Build, lead and develop a high‑performing Technology & Data function, with clear succession and capability planning.
  • Manage vendors, managed services and technology programmes, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time and cost‑effective delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience leading complex IT programmes and portfolios within a multi‑property hotel environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in hospitality systems, including PMS platforms such as Opera Cloud and related hotel technologies.
  • Proven experience designing and operating cloud‑based environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS.

  • Strong accountability for data security, compliance and risk management, including PCI standards, IT policies and security awareness.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of data capture and dashboard development.
  • Demonstrable senior leadership experience, operating at executive level and influencing board‑level stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate high‑performing Technology teams.
  • Strong experience managing third‑party managed services, outsourcing arrangements and complex vendor relationships.
  • Exposure to luxury hospitality, international hotel brands or premium service environments (UK‑focused or global).
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK and support hotel pre‑opening activity where required.
