Responsibilities

  • Takes responsibility for the general maintenance of the property and upkeep of its facilities.
  • Ensures that tasks and jobs are completed efficiently and within time deadlines.
  • Completes daily job list and preventive maintenance schedules with an eye for detail.
  • Liaises with contractors and manages the maintenance team to meet guest expectations.
  • Maintains health and safety standards across the hotel.
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues, guests and external parties.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and health & safety is beneficial.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and a hands-on individual.
