Mechanical Fitters Required for Automotive Project Liverpool (Contract until at least September)

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a dynamic team working on a high-profile automotive project based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the installation of advanced conveyor systems and robotic cells within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and commission conveyor systems and robotic cells

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions

• Perform mechanical fitting, fault finding, and repairs

• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

• Assist other trades as required and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• CSCS Card (required)

• IPAF qualification (beneficial)

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally in automotive or industrial automation

• Skilled in hand and power tools, and reading technical drawings

• Experience with conveyor and robotic cell installation preferred

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and confident on site

• Strong communicator and team player

What We Offer:

• £26.00 per hour + Overtime

• Contract role until at least September, with potential for extension
