Job Purpose:

To contribute to the department’s strategic objectives by providing excellent support, in a compliant manner, to enable us to deliver a first-class service to clients, in our quest to be the firm of choice. To support one another, in a professional, flexible and positive way, working together to achieve departmental and firm-wide success using our combined knowledge, enthusiasm and initiative to be the best we can be.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the consultants to enable them to focus on the delivery of advice to clients, and anticipating and supplying what they or the client may need
  • Provide ‘subject matter expert’ input as appropriate and when requested, and provide appropriate training, direction and support for others where needed
  • Be a point of contact for clients, colleagues and external links
  • Be the link between clients, consultants, colleagues and CRMs so they are all in the loop
  • Help to manage the consultant diary to help ensure the most effective use of their time
  • Communications with clients, as appropriate, ensure that they are accurate and are fit for purpose
  • Deal with all aspects of the new business process and ongoing servicing of clients’ plans, liaising with colleagues in other service lines and product providers as appropriate
  • Work closely with technical support to gather accurate information required for prepping / planning cases
  • Adhering to regulatory requirements, compliance procedures, departmental and firm-wide processes
  • Ensuring a complete and accurate audit trail is always maintained
  • Taking ownership to keep up to date with legislative / regulatory changes / CPD
  • Proactively get involved and contribute ideas as part of continuous improvement. Support and embrace necessary changes. Share best practice and knowledge
  • Ensure agreed personal objectives are achieved on a timely basis
  • Take ownership for identified projects
  • Ability to deliver first class client service

  • Previous experience of working within a Wealth Management administration role.
