You will be part of MHA’s ESG audit and assurance international team of experts, responsible for delivering ESG technical audit and assurance requirements to Clients. Achieving sustainability and net-zero goals will be the defining business challenge of the coming decades, creating significant risks and opportunities. Success will depend on addressing a broad range of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors that are increasingly influencing the decisions of investors, consumers, and other market players. The role will be focused on managing a portfolio of ESG audit & assurance clients, meet the needs of the clients, monitor changes in the regulatory landscape, and to enhance fee earnings of the portfolio, by delivering MHA services. The ESG team is in a phase of growth and joining the role at this time offers the opportunity to be involved in unique elements and strategic decisions of the team.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in an accounting practice working on ESG projects.
- Up to date in CPE and recent developments in accounting standards.
- Experience of Large Entities & Listed / PIE covering a range of industries.
- Management/supervisory experience – the ability to motivate, delegate effectively, develop a team and be a speaker.
- Client focus and commercial awareness.
- Communication – oral and written, ability to deal with variety of people in different environments.
- Organisational skills – the ability to juggle several different tasks at once.
