About Us
MHA is a distinguished audit and advisory firm renowned for our commitment to excellence and innovation. We are expanding our External Audit practice and are seeking a dedicated Audit Executive to join our esteemed investment funds audit team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Delaware-domiciled funds and investment entities. You will collaborate with some of the most innovative mutual funds and private funds, including private equity and venture capital-focused funds. Additionally, there is the opportunity to work with our digital asset fund clients, where we are among the leading offerings.
The Role
As an Audit Executive, you will:
- Conduct audit work within teams with a commitment to a high level of client service.
- Help ensure our compliance with International Standards on Auditing and our clientβs compliance with IFRS or US GAAP.
- Complete audit fieldwork for manager review.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a technically strong auditor with:
- A qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, or CPA, along with audit practice experience.
- Proficiency in auditing, financial reporting, and financial statement review.
- Competent skills in audit planning and completion.
- Competent with Excel and Word.
- Experience with CaseWare would be advantageous.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge, including recent developments in accounting standards (IFRS and/or US GAAP).
- Strong communication skills β both oral and written β with the ability to interact with a variety of people across different environments and time zones.
- Ideally, experience within the investment funds or a keen interest in financial services.
