Sushi Daily is a fast-growing and innovative food retail and restaurant company founded in 2010. One of its brand concepts, Sushi Daily, is the current European leader for fully serviced sushi bars. It currently operates over 1000 kiosks in 12 countries. The unique concept features outlets in grocery stores, supermarkets and airports with live Sushi Artisans performing their art in front of customers, delivering a differentiated customer experience and top-quality sushi.
MH Sushi Limited, as franchisee of the Sushi Daily brand, is currently looking to expend their team and hire a new Senior Sushi Chef in its stand in Asda Lancaster Superstore, Ovangle road, Lancaster LA1 5JR.

What you will do
- Producing all our products (Maki, Sushi, Sashimi…) while respecting our recipes
- Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and the Sushi Daily concept
- Guarantee excellent product quality
- Ensure the high level of customer service (tasting and customers interactions)
- Maintain a good relationship with the retailer
Who you are

- Experience in leading people, who can build confidence and capability in your team enabling them to succeed

- A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, ability to follow brand standards and comply with company policies.
- Reliable transportation for your commute to work early in the morning
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
- Previous experience in Sushi business will be highly preferred
And are able to:
- Be accountable for the Kiosk and the team, maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
- Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves
- Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
- Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
- Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.
- Be a skilled multitasker
- An early riser as shifts can start at 6:00am some days
- Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered

Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH are Desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
