We are thrilled to announce that a prestigious client specializing in Food Production (Health Products) is recruting for Reach FLT drivers JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FLT The role of a FLT Driver is part of the operational structure designed to control the movement and storage of goods to, from and within the site. As directed by the FLM/Team Leader you will ensure that goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time. You will ensure work in carried out in line with standard operating procedures, policies and in line with H+S legislations. You will assist in delivering continuous improvements in quality, productivity and compliance through actively engaging in operational initiatives as defined from time to time by senior management. Unloading vehicles and ensure goods tally with goods received note(s). Complete goods received paperwork Move goods to designated warehouse locations as directed by the management team/system driven directive. Operate I.T. equipment & Software (RDT’s, Tablets, Desktop Computers, IFS, Microsoft Office etc.) to aid you in your assigned tasks Completing all assigned tasks in a safe manner, ensuring Health, Safety & Quality of work are always at the forefront of your role. Pick goods from warehouse locations and marshal in loading bay area or other designated area. Load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifest/system driven directive. Ensure load contents are logged correctly. Ensure adherence to established KPI targets Assist in periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including but not exhaustive to, quality, performance, communication, health & safety and compliance. Receive returns items back from customers (reverse logistics) and ensure details are accurately recorded. Process damaged goods to include re-work of products in line with specifications. Operate in the course of your duties M.H.E. which you are trained/qualified to drive in a safe manner adhering to all safe systems of works and training guidelines. Undertake inventory count duties as defined from time to time by your line manager ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
