We are a well-established freight forwarding company servicing the whole of Scotland. The successful candidate will join a close-knit operation and help ensure we continue to provide excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, proven experience in an administrative role and thrive under pressure. Experience using programmes such as Microsoft Excel and Word are required for compiling reports and analytical data. The successful candidate will be working in our growing compliance team.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Extracting data from various systems to compile and maintain databases and reports.
- Written & verbal communication with other departments and customers.
- Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly reports are updated and available for managers in a timely manner.
- Update internal systems.
- Analysis of business data.
- Manage customer onboarding process.
- Work with external customers data & systems.
- Monitoring external systems to ensure compliance across the business.
- Dealing with insurance and claims enquiries.
- Key account reporting.
Skills / Experience:
- Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work to set deadlines.
- Knowledge of the parcel/freight industry advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to produce reports and analyse data.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Share-Point
- Team player
- Ability to present results not just through reporting but also visual presentation.
Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
