Location: Hampshire / Salisbury / Southampton area

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Eligibility: UK resident, full UK driving licence required

Hands on automotive experience required. Help dealers unlock CRM, marketing automation, and data driven performance while managing key accounts across the South UK. Field based role with growth opportunities.

We are a data driven business, focused on helping dealership teams deliver measurable improvements through CRM led customer journeys and automation. As our product set expands to include more sales CRM capability, we are seeking an experienced automotive professional to join our customer success and performance team.

Who This Role Is Ideal For

This is a relationship focused Customer Success role that requires real automotive experience. We welcome candidates from dealer and OEM environments as well as automotive SaaS CRM or marketing automation suppliers.

Candidates will ideally have experience in:

  • CRM
  • Retention
  • Marketing automation
  • Service operations

Experience with sales CRM is beneficial and can be developed on the job.

Suitable backgrounds include:

  • OEM Aftersales or CRM Field Team

Applicants without automotive experience will not be considered.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, you will manage a portfolio of dealer accounts across the southern region, working closely with aftersales, CRM, and leadership teams to drive adoption, performance, and retention.

Success is measured through CRM adoption, retention, account health, and demonstrable performance improvements. You will also identify opportunities for wider product adoption within existing accounts.

This is a field based role with regular dealer visits and engagement with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Performance

  • Build trusted relationships with aftersales, CRM, marketing, and leadership teams
  • Review account data to identify risks, opportunities, and actions
  • Support dealers to adopt CRM best practice and enhance automated customer journeys

Retention, CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Advise on service reminders, lapsed customer recovery, declined work follow up, and MOT retention
  • Help clients understand how automated communications improve workshop and customer lifecycle performance
  • Support training and process improvements that encourage CRM utilisation

Account Stewardship & Growth

  • Identify opportunities for additional product adoption aligned with client needs
  • Maintain clear account plans with agreed actions and timelines
  • Work with product, data, development, training, and support teams
  • Produce performance reports and present insights to client stakeholders
  • Represent MGS at industry events and meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • Automotive experience is essential (aftersales, CRM, retention, marketing automation, OEM)
  • Strong relationship building skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Data driven mindset with the ability to turn insight into practical improvement actions
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Flexibility to travel within the South UK region

Experience with sales CRM is beneficial but training will be provided.

Location

We are ideally looking for candidates within the southern corridor of the UK, particularly around Hampshire or Wiltshire. Locations with good access to major routes (M3, A303, etc.) work well, but we are open to considering applicants from surrounding areas if travel is manageable.

Salary & Benefits

  • Base salary £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday, increasing to 28 after three years, plus public holidays
