Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We are problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What you will be doing
- Oversee the successful execution of metering, lead replacement, and new connection projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
- Champion health, safety, and wellbeing on site, conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and coaching staff on best practices and PPE compliance.
- Prepare and manage RAMS, permits, and temporary works documentation.
- Supervise labour, plant, and materials, while building collaborative teams and managing specialist subcontractors.
- Act as the point of contact for customers and the public impacted by works, ensuring clear communication and minimal disruption.
- Follow MG Water Business Management Systems to deliver projects “right first time” in a controlled environment.
- Coordinate document control, design management, and timely close-out of audit actions.
- Participate in investigations and drive improvements.
