Where will you be working? At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We are problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will join BGEN – one of the UK’s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.
As a Graduate SI Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in SI projects and occasionally lead small project teams under supervision, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop functional design specifications, configure PLC/SCADA systems, and perform factory/site testing and commissioning while adhering to standards and best practices.
- Report progress and issues to the SI Manager and Project Manager; assist in estimating when required.
- Complete training and development plans, pursue professional membership (e.g., IET), and work toward Chartered Engineer status.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction, contribute to quality manual updates, and introduce latest engineering practices where appropriate.
