An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Land Surveyor to join an expanding land surveying and BIM department. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience working on significant UK development projects while utilising advanced laser scanning technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laser scan measured surveys across various UK locations.
  • Assist in the registration of accurate, georeferenced point clouds.
  • Work collaboratively with senior surveyors to develop surveying skills.
  • Participate in traditional survey techniques, including GPS control and traversing.
  • Utilise Leica P40 and RTC scanners for survey data collection.
  • Support the CAD and BIM teams with processed data.
  • Travel to project sites using company vehicles.
  • Maintain and manage laser scanning equipment.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Land Surveying or Geomatics.
  • Experience with laser scanning technology is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Leica Cyclone software is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of traditional surveying methods is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required for site surveys.
  • Proximity to Eynsham, Oxford for office presence and equipment management.
