A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an experienced Utility Surveyor to join a forward-thinking, employee-owned surveying consultancy with over five decades of industry expertise. Based in their Essex office, you will become an integral part of a dynamic and well-supported team, working on a broad range of utility mapping and detection projects using state-of-the-art technology.

The Role:

  • Deliver utility detection surveys using GPR and EML equipment
  • Capture, interpret and report survey data to PAS128 standards
  • Produce detailed CAD drawings from field data
  • Independently manage survey projects and liaise with clients and colleagues
  • Ensure all deliverables meet project deadlines and safety requirements
  • Maintain, calibrate and manage your surveying equipment

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in utility surveying
  • Experience with GPR, EML, and CAD software
  • Familiarity with Leica, Trimble, or Geomax equipment
  • Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel across the Southeast and attend the Essex office
  • Level 3 QCF in Utility Surveying is preferred but not essential
  • Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work independently and within a team
