Chance for a Utility Surveyor to join an established Surveying practice for a candidate based in Greater London. The client is a Specialist Land, Utility and Measured Building consultancy who also do some setting out and monitoring.
This position is ideally suited for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience who are proficient in using surveying equipment such as GPR, electromagnetic locators, total stations, and GPS.
The client offers flexibility with remote working options. You will be provided with your own car, laptop and phone. They don’t expect you to come into the office - process from home and manage your own workload with support on hand if you need it.
This is a great chance for the right candidate to join a team of 20 plus surveyors who are looking to take their business to the next level over the next two years, doubling in size with strong growth plans.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct utility surveys using ground penetrating radar (GPR), electromagnetic locators, and other surveying equipment
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives
- Identify and map underground utilities including gas, water, telecommunications, and electrical lines
- Utilise survey data to create detailed utility maps and reports for clients
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to accurately assess utility locations and depths
