Senior Site Engineer / Engineering Surveyor Banbury - HS2 £45,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance and accommodation allowance MGR Recruitment are representing a leading civil engineering contractor on their prestigious heavy civils project in Banbury, forming an integral part of HS2.
The scheme covers earthworks, roadworks, viaducts and bridges.
This is a genuinely long-term opportunity on one of the country's flagship infrastructure programmes, with work secured until at least 2030.
It is also a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working, which is rare on a project of this scale.
The Role Reporting into the site engineering team, you will be responsible for: Setting out across earthworks, structures and roadworks GNSS surveys Establishing and maintaining survey control Checking the setting out and coordinates of other surveyors on site Producing as-built records and supporting the wider engineering team What We're Looking For A valid CSCS card - this is mandatory Proven experience as a Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer or Engineering Surveyor A minimum of 2 years on heavy civil engineering projects in the UK Confident with total stations and GNSS equipment Comfortable working to tight tolerances on a busy live site What's On Offer £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience Car allowance Accommodation allowance for those staying away Monday to Friday, no weekends Secured work until at least 2030 How to Apply MGR Recruitment is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
