An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Utility Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy delivering projects across the Utility Sector. This role will involve working across a variety of infrastructure, construction, and development projects using modern survey technology to deliver accurate underground utility detection surveys. This position would suit an experienced Utility Surveyor looking for a role with varied project work and opportunities for career progression.
As a Senior Utility Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality underground utility surveys while supporting the wider surveying team across multiple projects:
- Carrying out underground utility detection surveys using GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment
- Delivering PAS 128 compliant utility surveys across infrastructure and construction sites
- Interpreting survey data and preparing information for CAD processing
- Liaising with project managers, engineers and site teams
- Ensuring surveys are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard
- Providing guidance and support to junior surveyors where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Utility Surveyor within the UK
- Understanding of PAS 128 survey standards
- Ability to manage survey work independently on site
- Full UK driving licence
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
