An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Land & Measured Building Surveyor to join a well-established surveying consultancy working across a diverse portfolio of construction, infrastructure and development projects throughout the Thames Valley and surrounding regions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of topographical, measured building and setting out surveys using the latest surveying technology. You will be joining a highly respected surveying team with excellent opportunities for career progression, training and professional development. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role with a strong mix of site and office-based processing work, alongside the chance to mentor junior surveyors and contribute to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
The Role
- Carrying out topographical and measured building surveys
- Working independently on small to large-scale surveying projects
- Producing accurate survey data using modern surveying equipment and software
- Processing survey data and preparing detailed drawings and deliverables
- Supporting and mentoring trainee and junior surveyors on site
- Ensuring all work is delivered safely, accurately and within project timescales
Requirements
- 2+ years' UK Land Surveying experience
- Experience carrying out topographical surveys independently
- Experience undertaking measured building surveys
- Knowledge of laser scanning and traditional surveying methods
- Experience processing survey data and producing CAD outputs
- Competent use of modern surveying equipment and software
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK
