MGR Recruitment are fortunate to be representing one of the leading Civil contractors in their search for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join their prestigious heavy Civil Project in Aylesbury, which is an integral part of the ongoing HS2 initiative. The project covers earthworks, roadworks, viaducts and bridges. The project is expected to go beyond 2028.

As a Site Engineer/Engineering Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the project.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • You will be carrying out Setting Out, GNSS surveys, monitoring surveys, laser scanning, survey control and checking the setting out coordinates of other surveyors.

Qualifications and Experience needed:

  • A valid CSCS card is a mandatory requirement
  • Proven experience working as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Heavy Civils projects in the UK
  • Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments
