An excellent opportunity for a Monitoring Surveyor/Monitoring Technician to join an established surveying and monitoring team, working on a range of small to medium-scale monitoring projects across the civil engineering and construction sectors.

The Role

You will install, maintain and decommission monitoring schemes on site, while also processing monitoring data to a high standard. The role will involve independent site work, office-based processing and supporting larger monitoring projects under guidance from senior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Complete small to medium-scale monitoring projects independently
  • Set up monitoring instruments, record site data and support project delivery
  • Process monitoring results accurately and to client requirements
  • Maintain equipment and company vehicle standards
  • Follow health and safety procedures, including site inspections and risk assessments
  • Continue developing skills in monitoring, measured building surveying and laser scanning

Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience within monitoring or a closely related surveying role
  • Experience processing raw monitoring data
  • Practical knowledge of monitoring equipment and software
  • Previous experience with a Total Station
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel, with occasional overnight stays or weekend work
  • Right to work in the UK
