An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established and UKAS-accredited consultancy operating across residential and commercial sectors. This is a full-time, field-based role with excellent support, training, and the chance to be part of a family-run business with a strong team ethos.
The Role:
You will carry out management and refurbishment/demolition asbestos surveys across a broad mix of properties – from residential housing for local authorities and supermarkets to retail stores and banking sector clients. Although the company provides a national service, the majority of the work is concentrated around Essex and the M25 corridor.
Youll need to be flexible to travel to return samples to the Essex-based laboratory. All travel costs, hotel stays, tolls, and congestion charges are covered, and youll be provided with a company vehicle.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Conducting asbestos surveys (management and R&D) on residential, commercial, and retail sites
- Ensuring all samples are handled and returned in accordance with UKAS protocols
- Completing accurate and timely reports
- Liaising with clients and project managers as required
What Were Looking For:
- P402 qualified with a minimum of 2 years field experience
- Strong working knowledge of asbestos survey methodologies and legislation
- Based within or near the Essex/M25 area
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
