Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Essex / Greater M25 Area Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (Depending on Experience) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a well-established and UKAS-accredited consultancy operating across residential and commercial sectors. This is a full-time, field-based role with excellent support, training, and the chance to be part of a family-run business with a strong team ethos. The Role: You will carry out management and refurbishment/demolition asbestos surveys across a broad mix of properties – from residential housing for local authorities and supermarkets to retail stores and banking sector clients. Although the company provides a national service, the majority of the work is concentrated around Essex and the M25 corridor. You’ll need to be flexible to travel to return samples to the Essex-based laboratory. All travel costs, hotel stays, tolls, and congestion charges are covered, and you’ll be provided with a company vehicle. What You’ll Be Doing: * Conducting asbestos surveys (management and R&D) on residential, commercial, and retail sites * Ensuring all samples are handled and returned in accordance with UKAS protocols * Completing accurate and timely reports * Liaising with clients and project managers as required What We’re Looking For: * P402 qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ field experience * Strong working knowledge of asbestos survey methodologies and legislation * Based within or near the Essex/M25 area * Excellent communication and report-writing skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary (£30,000 – £45,000 DOE) * Company van and fuel card * All travel, hotels, tolls, and congestion expenses paid * Supportive senior management -all of whom started as surveyors/analysts themselves in the business * Family-run, 50+ strong team where staff wellbeing is a top priority * Work with a UKAS-accredited, highly respected firm
