This role is responsible for leading the delivery of complex programmes within the Corporate Functions Technology team, with a specific focus on finance-related change. The role ensures that technology initiatives supporting Finance functions are delivered in a controlled, transparent and value-driven manner, aligned to organisational priorities and regulatory expectations. The role works closely with Finance, Technology, and other Corporate Functions to translate strategic objectives into well-governed programmes that deliver measurable outcomes, while managing risk, dependencies and stakeholder expectations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end programme delivery for finance-focused technology initiatives, from initiation through to successful implementation and closure.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and ensure technology programmes support business outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain robust programme governance, including planning, reporting, risk and issue management.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring dependencies, milestones and resources are effectively managed.
  • Provide clear, accurate and timely reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Manage financial oversight of programmes, including budgets, forecasts and benefits tracking.
  • Ensure programmes comply with internal controls, policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Foster strong collaboration across Technology, Finance and wider Corporate Functions teams.
  • Support continuous improvement in programme management practices within Corporate Functions Technology.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of finance operating models, financial processes or finance change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technology programmes involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Experience working within Corporate Functions and regulated environments.
  • Strong governance, risk, dependency, and control awareness.
  • Experience of producing, tracking and managing project and programme budgets.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for a range of audiences.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Structured, outcome-focused approach with attention to detail.
