As an Identity Technical Associate, you’ll help keep our identity services secure, stable and easy to use across the organisation. You’ll split your time between day-to-day 3rd line operational support and onboarding applications for SSO into Entra ID (Enterprise Apps). You’ll work closely with colleagues across technology and the business to resolve issues, deliver controlled changes, and improve the maturity of identity and access over time.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality technical support and operational work across identity and access platforms.
  • Lead and deliver SSO onboarding into Entra ID (Enterprise Apps) for a mix of SaaS, internal and legacy/on‐prem applications, ensuring required identity controls are met.
  • Configure and support identity controls including MFA, Conditional Access, least-privilege role assignment, and alignment with the identity governance solution for joiners/movers/leavers and access certifications.
  • Investigate incidents and service issues affecting identity services, identify root causes, and contribute to well-controlled fixes and improvements.
  • Carry out routine service activities, including configuration updates, access changes, monitoring, and health checks.
  • Follow established procedures and standards to ensure consistent, secure service operation.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation for operational tasks, onboarding decisions, and service changes.
  • Work effectively with colleagues across teams, using ServiceNow to manage requests, incidents and change activities.
  • Support continuous improvement by spotting recurring issues and suggesting practical changes that improve stability and efficiency.
Key knowledge, skills and experienceEssential
  • Strong hands-on technical experience in identity operations, including Active Directory and Entra ID, with solid troubleshooting capability.
  • Experience delivering and supporting SSO integrations (or equivalent identity integrations) in a controlled environment.
  • Practical experience with Conditional Access and applying security controls consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures and produce accurate documentation.
  • Clear, concise communication skills, adapting the level of detail to the audience.
  • Collaborative working style and confidence partnering across teams to get outcomes delivered.
Desirable
  • Experience with Entra Connect and related authentication components.
  • Experience with Delinea and/or SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell) to improve repeatability and efficiency of BAU, audit queries and onboarding tasks.
  • Familiarity with identity governance processes such as joiners/movers/leavers and access certification controls.
