We are looking for a Pensions Operations Analyst to support the development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) schemes within M&G Life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of new PRT propositions and operating models.
- Act as the operational point of contact for queries relating to new business transactions.
- Carry out operational due diligence on new business transactions to assess non‑financial risks.
- Support implementation activities, ensuring smooth onboarding of new schemes.
- Provide reporting and analysis to support decision‑making, including input into risk premium assessments.
- Assist with the delivery and ongoing operation of the PRT operational model.
- Manage monthly and quarterly scheme reporting requirements.
- Reconcile pension data and payrolls on a regular basis, ensuring policyholders are paid accurately and on time.
- Liaise with outsourced pension administration partners to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support innovation within operational processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong maths and English A‑level; STEM degree preferable.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Professional approach, with a high degree of honesty, integrity, and discretion.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience of reconciliation / data analysis (desirable).
- Knowledge of financial services, insurance or pensions (desirable).
- A genuine interest in delivering a strong customer journey (desirable).
