The Pension Schemes Executive team supports trustees of M&G’s three UK pension schemes, overseeing operations and governance to ensure members receive accurate information and benefits. The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of UK pension legislation, and the ability to manage third-party service providers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee pensions administration and operational activities, ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards and controls.
- Manage relationships with third-party administrators and service providers, including performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Ensure operational processes comply with relevant pensions legislation, regulatory expectations and internal policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, data quality and member experience.
- Oversee operational risk management, including incident handling, remediation activity and reporting.
- Produce and review management information to support decision-making and governance forums.
- Provide people leadership, coaching and development for colleagues within the operations function.
- Act as an escalation point for complex operational or member issues, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution.
