Internal Communications and Engagement is a key function within our Corporate Affairs, Brand and Sustainability (CABS) team. Our role is an important one - we help M&G achieve its ambitions by making sure all of our colleagues are crystal clear on what we're aiming to achieve together, how we want to do it, and what their part is in making it happen. You’ll primarily work within our Life business and spend a significant amount of your time building relationships in this space, creating content and communications plans and initiatives that support the delivery of the Life strategy.
Key accountabilities for this role:
- Contributing to the delivery of our Internal Communications strategy - under the direction of our Internal Communications and Engagement Business Partner, you'll support the delivery of our functional communication plans through a variety of activity, including finding, writing and publishing great stories, helping to organise key colleague events and getting creative with communications campaigns.
- Shaping your own communications agenda - you'll have the opportunity to partner with key areas of the Life business and drive your own communications plans for key strategic deliverables.
- Driving colleague engagement through data - you'll use the data and insight available to better understand the needs of our colleagues and make sure that we're listening and reacting to what our colleagues need.
- Building great relationships - you’ll forge tight relationships with a number of key people across M&G.

- Experience working as part of an Internal Communications team, or in a role where you've worked as part of a team to deliver communications activity.
