Our two distinct operating segments, Asset Management and Life, work together to provide access to balanced, long-term investment and savings solutions.
Internal Communications and Engagement is a key function within our Corporate Affairs, Brand and Sustainability (CABS) team. Our role is an important one - we help M&G achieve its ambitions by making sure all of our colleagues are crystal clear on what we're aiming to achieve together, how we want to do it, and what their part is in making it happen.

Key accountabilities for this role:
- Contributing to the delivery of our Internal Communications strategy - under the direction of our Internal Communications and Engagement Business Partner, you'll support the delivery of our functional communication plans through a variety of activity, including finding, writing and publishing great stories, helping to organise key colleague events and getting creative with communications campaigns.
- Shaping your own communications agenda - you'll have the opportunity to partner with key areas of the Life business and drive your own communications plans for key strategic deliverables.
- Driving colleague engagement through data - you'll use the data and insight available to better understand the needs of our colleagues and make sure that we're listening and reacting to what our colleagues need.
- Building great relationships - you’ll forge tight relationships with a number of key people across M&G.
Some of the skills and experience you'll need:
- Experience working as part of an Internal Communications team, or in a role where you've worked as part of a team to deliver communications activity.
- A creative thinker who knows how to spot a really great story and how best to share it with people.
- The ability to explore and understand complex topics and create engaging content that links back to our corporate narrative.
- The ability to work well with a range of stakeholders to understand their agenda and needs.
- A reputation for getting stuff done - always to a high standard, on time and with good attention to detail.
- The ability to make good use of data and analytics to inform decisions and actions.
- An interest in developing a broad network, both internally and externally.
