The Opportunity

This programme has been designed to develop future sales talent through a combination of practical experience, technical training, mentoring, and customer-facing responsibility. You'll spend time learning different areas of the business, including sales, operations, engineering, and depot functions, developing a strong understanding of MGF's products, services, and customers.

Working alongside experienced sales professionals, you'll learn how to:

  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Understand customer requirements and provide consultative solutions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage projects and key accounts within your region
  • Work with technical teams to deliver the right solutions for customers
  • Use CRM systems to manage activity and support commercial growth
  • Analyse customer needs and market opportunities to drive business performance

As your experience grows, you'll take increasing ownership of customer accounts and projects, developing into a confident sales professional with genuine career progression opportunities.

About You

We're looking for graduates who are commercially minded, motivated, and eager to learn. You'll likely have:

  • A degree in any discipline (Civil Engineering or Construction-related subjects are advantageous but NOT essential)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence, curiosity and a consultative approach
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to build trust and credibility with customers
  • Ambition to develop a long-term career in sales and business development

Previous sales experience is not required. We're interested in your potential, attitude, and willingness to learn.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to travel within your region if required
