An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lifting Equipment Technician to join the team operating from our depot in Stanton, East Anglia.
The duties involve the testing, maintenance, and repair of lifting equipment and ensuring the safety of this equipment. Responsibilities include:
- Preparation, checking, inspecting, recording, and testing of MGF lifting equipment to LEEA standard, LOLER, and PUWER legislation ready to supply to clients and depots as required.
- Producing reports to present and discuss findings to our network of depots.
- Issuing test certificates to equipment upon completion of successful testing.
- Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping within your area.
- Monitoring hire fleet stock levels for the region and advising on any overall shortfalls in kit and components.
- Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a varied range of hire fleet equipment including chain blocks, genie lifts, and vacuum handling machines.
You must hold a current LEEA foundation accreditation or above (or be prepared to work towards LEEA General level).
