To provide timely Commercial Finance support to the EMEA Business, ensuring pricing is available and ready for use by the Commercial teams with their customers, and the associated level of profitability is understood. To support the development and implementation of financial forecasting and guidance.

Key Result Areas and Activities:

  • Support the transition of pricing from SAP to D365, and manage the ongoing input of pricing into D365.
  • Support the market seasonal standard pricing process.
  • Deliver excess inventory recommendations prior to key sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain business financial planning templates for European markets that can also support customer-level business planning.
  • Assist key customer account managers with financial modelling of their range plans and customer terms.
  • Deliver commercial forecasts and budgets to support the group financial planning process and enhance local market leads' understanding of financial performance.
  • Support local marketing teams on financial matters.
  • Act as the key commercial finance contact for local national and key account managers, assisting in building financial acumen within EMEA.

Position Requirements:

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified with a professional accounting body (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of pricing structures and invoicing with commercial terms.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • High level of accuracy and ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, D365) and familiarity with financial modelling and forecasting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience in using data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines as well as ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Resourceful approach to challenges with strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong level of personal drive and tenacity.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
