Begin your career journey in Technology: Join M&G’s Eight-Week Summer Internship on 22 June 2026 for an eight-week internship to gain hands-on experience, develop technical and professional skills, and build a strong understanding of Technology within the Financial Services Industry. Your journey will start with a cohort-wide induction, with focused insight sessions to help you learn more about M&G, network with colleagues, and begin developing your professional skills.
You will take part in a structured programme, including:
- Team Placement: Join one team for eight weeks where you will take on meaningful work, contribute to live projects, and shadow experienced colleagues to gain a solid understanding of Technology.
- Group Project: An opportunity to collaborate with your peers on a business project, developing teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Professional Development: Take part in interactive learning sessions and networking opportunities designed to grow your expertise and build your professional network.
- Support Network: Regular check-ins with the Early Careers Team, your manager, and a buddy will ensure you have all the support you need during the programme.
This internship is your first step toward a career in Technology. At the end of the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for one of our Technology Graduate Programmes starting in September 2027.
What will you be doing? The Technology team underpins almost every element of M&G Plc’s strategic direction through its support of the transformation agenda and providing a stable foundation for the business. Not only do we advise, implement and support excellent technical platforms, we also work hard with our business partners to drive the transformation of our organisation to meet our customers’ expectations of speed, information and value for money. As part of our Technology function, you’ll gain hands-on experience across one of our teams, whether that be exploring real life use cases of AI, understanding and helping to deploy our data strategy or working alongside our engineering teams to help us standardise across teams.
