The Role

M&G is seeking a passionate Communications and Ad‑hoc Insight executive to join our insight team. This position will support the Communications Insight manager to deliver both customer and adviser communications testing and market research. This will include existing communications, new communications and journey communications testing. You will play a pivotal role in developing a deep, across‑the‑board understanding of how our communications are understood by their target audiences, enabling you to make persuasive recommendations for improvements to stakeholders that are actioned by the business.

Key Responsibilities for this Role

  • Work with the communications, digital and propositions team to deliver research to test our communications.
  • Work across customers and adviser audiences to deliver holistic communication insight.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to communicate findings and drive customer‑centred improvements.
  • Champion the customer perspective, ensuring their voice is central to our communication development.
  • Work closely with insight colleagues to share knowledge and best practice, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Deliver ad‑hoc projects that fall outside the standard communication work.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in delivering communication insight either client side or agency side, preferably with an understanding of consumer duty.
  • Experience of scoping, scheduling and running research.
  • Experience of both qualitative and quantitative research design.
  • Experience of running multiple projects in sequence.
  • Ability to simplify data and big themes into easily shareable and impactful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating insights into impactful business actions.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive attitude, enthusiasm to drive change and support of a culture of continuous improvement.
