The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

The role of the Propositions team is to make sure that our propositions remain appropriate for their target market and deliver the promised outcomes throughout the customer journey. As an experienced Proposition Manager, you will drive forward change across a number of areas including product development and regulatory projects. Vital across all areas of accountability will be ensuring the customer is central to our thinking.
We need a high performing Proposition Manager with experience of developing and managing pension retirement income propositions. The successful applicant will be a Retirement Income specialist with a particular knowledge of annuities.
The Propositions team is made up of subject matter experts with extensive knowledge of M&G's insured propositions and a deep understanding of the legislative, regulatory and tax framework within which the products are operated. The Individual Products team has primary responsibility for ensuring that our propositions are sold to their target market and provide our advisers and their customers with market leading propositions.
The successful candidate will join the Individual Products team (part of the Propositions area) which is responsible for the management and development of a wide product range within M&G. This role is primarily focused on Retirement Income and in particular annuities. Experience in other product ranges such as corporate pensions is desirable but not essential.
This role requires an experienced product manager with the following capabilities:
- Deep understanding of the annuities market
- Experience of managing Annuity back books
- Experience of developing new solutions in the Retirement Income market
- Production of packs for senior stakeholder meetings
- Ability to identify and deliver growth opportunities
The following capabilities would be desirable:
- Experience of annuity pricing
- Knowledge of the UK individual pensions market in particular the SIPP market
- Knowledge of the UK corporate pensions market
