M&G are looking for a Product Delivery Manager to onboard mandates awarded to M&G plc. The team are looking for an experienced Project Manager with previous experience at an Asset Manager. This is a great opportunity to work in a role that contributes enormous value to the company and offers valuable experience with senior stakeholders ., * Manage projects that deliver benefit to M&G plc. These will be wide-ranging in terms of subject / domain but will tend to be business change (and specifically the onboarding mandates awarded to M&G) rather than IT change projects.

  • Ability to take a hands-on role within the project, working with fund managers and investment professionals.

  • Manage senior stakeholders; and

  • Build successful relationships with the project delivery partners, including external legal advice, fund administrator, trustee / custodian and auditor.

  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G’s operational risk., * For technical specialists, accountable for delivering expert advice or service, using specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise

  • Applies judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for customers, cost and risk

  • Manages conflicts that may impact delivery

  • Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture

  • Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output

  • Manages resources and risks using expert judgment, know-how and experience

  • Project management experience within investment management with an understanding of different approaches.

  • A proven track record of successfully leading on, and delivering projects within a front office environment, across a wide range of functions.

  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills.

  • Strong influence and negotiating skills with an ability to manage a variety of stakeholders.

  • Willingness to work to tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects, considering evolving business priorities.

  • Strong analytic and proven problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate pragmatic solutions to meet conflicting business requirements.

  • Highly motivated, proactive and resilient.

  • Ability to be flexible and to manage ambiguity during project delivery.

  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.

  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation, with strong relationship management skills and client relationship skills; and

  • Good awareness of related regulations (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID2 etc.).

Ideally, but not obligatory:

  • IMC

  • A project management qualification such as Prince 2

  • Familiarity with Agile.
