The Role: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst – Change & Transformation to play a key role in helping M&G Life deliver its strategic priorities. You'll lead viability analysis for small to medium projects, support larger initiatives delivered with our strategic partners and work closely with the business to understand problems, opportunities and desired outcomes. You'll also shape your own analysis approach, engage stakeholders and help define, challenge and prioritise requirements.
Key Responsibilities For This Role:- Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
- Analyse current product/services and processes, and identify and implement opportunities to optimise these.
- Help to evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to define outcomes and solutions.
- Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing products and services.
- Provide recommendations to solutions; work with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits.
Our ideal candidate will bring strong collaboration and communication skills, and be able to interpret data from a variety of sources to translate complex information into clear user flows, wireframes and process maps. With an innovative mindset, you spot opportunities for continuous improvement and help shape solutions that balance user needs with stakeholder expectations. You're comfortable navigating Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments, understand when each approach is most effective, and appreciate the importance of adhering to governance standards throughout change initiatives.
You bring a solid understanding of Financial Services environments, their regulatory landscape and the products, processes and risks that shape day-to-day operations. You're comfortable adapting to changing priorities and can operate effectively using a range of delivery approaches. You've worked alongside a mix of business, technology and operational teams, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment across different areas of the organisation.
You understand the importance of customer value and use this to guide your analysis, ensuring solutions genuinely improve the customer experience and support positive long-term outcomes. You can confidently design and run workshops to explore business needs, gather and challenge requirements and validate that proposed solutions continue to meet user and business objectives.
