Actuarial Specialist
The CPS Actuarial Specialist is responsible for the post‑sale pricing process, MAG approval, member option support and wider CPS operations team support.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the post‑sale pricing process, including compliance with contractual terms, key controls, and validation of pricing outputs.
- Key point of contact for developing methodology for all CPS member option calculations.
- Own the deal Matching Adjustment (MAG) approval process and produce required documentation.
- Provide broader support within CRS Operations to deliver and maintain BPA business.
- Develop scalable solutions with robust processes and controls.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on assumptions and calculations.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation and new opportunities.
- Provide management information to governance forums.
- Support delivery of other elements of the CPS business plan.
- Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical actuarial skills.
- Qualified actuary preferred; part‑qualified candidates welcome.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Financial services and insurance knowledge, especially defined‑benefit pension de‑risking.
- Experience managing internal parties to deliver contractual deliverables.
- Passion for the customer.
