As a Lead Marketing Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering compliant marketing material across a range of audiences and mediums, helping us to achieve both good customer and commercial outcomes. You’ll be the first line of defence, working closely with the Marketing and Customer Teams, as well as external business partners, to ensure they receive the advice and support they need to deliver industry leading marketing and communications.
Key Responsibilities- You will support the Marketing and Customer Teams, combining managerial expertise and leadership with an expertise in marketing regulatory technical capability to drive compliant marketing communications.
- You will help support planning and prioritisation, directing, facilitating and overseeing regulatory input to key initiatives and projects including regulatory change, supporting ongoing development and learning within the team and function.
- Role model collaborative business partnering and advice across the business for the UK teams to help reinforce a strong risk culture, driving consistency and efficiency.
- You will demonstrate deep and broad regulatory expertise to deliver the best outcomes for customers, exercising sound judgement at all times.
- Drive quick, effective and pragmatic issue resolution across multiple senior stakeholders, accommodating differing priorities.
- Experience of delivering, overseeing, or supporting, regulatory advice and approvals on quality customer‑centric marketing communications, within financial services in the 1st or 2nd Line of Defence.
- Must have a solid understanding of UK financial services, with a focus on life products and investments.
- Excellent people management skills, inspiring others to perform at their best.
- Strong delivery capabilities, able to deploy resource effectively.
- Adaptable, drive constant improvements to ways of working, standards, processes and controls, growing skills and capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and influencing skills.
- Able to understand the big picture and demonstrate attention to detail, driving out all the relevant considerations as the basis for robust and sound decision making.
- Preferably with relevant experience gained in 1st and 2nd line of defence roles.
