An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join the Early Careers team at M&G plc.
The Early Careers team is responsible for the attraction, recruitment, development and management of our diverse group of Graduates, Interns and Apprentices. The team is also responsible for talent management and development activity for employees during the early stages of their careers once they have completed their programmes. Our vision is to recruit and develop a diverse high calibre talent pool to shape the future success of M&G plc.
The Early Careers Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the team deliver a wide a varied range of activities relating to the recruitment and development of our early career talent.
Responsibilities Include:
Working closely with the Head of Early Careers and the wider Early Careers team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our programmes, supporting our ambition for continuous improvement and innovation within our approach.
Recruitment Support
- Working with the team to engage and communicate with prospective candidates and applicants.
- Management of candidates throughout the recruitment process via the applicant tracking system, ensuring that feedback is timely and candidates are kept engaged throughout the process.
- Management of our Students and Apprenticeship Inbox. Acting as first point of contact, and ensuring that all queries are responded to in a timely manner.
- Supporting the delivery of assessment and selection processes for Internship, Graduate and Apprenticeshipschemes.
- Organising and facilitating Assessment Centres for final stage candidates.
- Contributing to our attraction strategy – including online and social media marketing, and managing relationships with external vendors for online advertising.
- Collaborating with internal teams (such as branding and compliance) to prepare all our marketing materials and job descriptions.
- Organisation and delivery of a range of external and internal events (such as outreach, work experience, induction and skills sessions).This includes managing comms/ marketing, participant correspondence, coordination of guest speakers, preparation of materials, logistics, on the day support, and post event comms/feedback gathering.
- Assist in planning and organising structured induction programmes, including all logistical coordination (venues, catering, equipment, communications, diary management etc).
- Maintaining candidate and programme records across key databases, supporting effective data management.
- Dashboard/report creation to air measurement of programme impact, and responding to information requests (such as for external accreditation or to inform internal strategies).
- Coordination of our soft skills development activities (managing all logistics such as venue bookings, material distribution, issuing invitations and materials.)
- Facilitation of evaluation/feedback surveys across key stakeholder groups to support the measurement of our programmes.
- A passion for Graduate, Intern and Apprentice resourcing and development.
- Current working knowledge of using Applicant Tracking Systems (eg Workday).
- Experience of managing end to end early careers recruitment processes, including the delivery of Assessment and Selection tools.
- Strongadministrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
- Good at developing relationships, and operating with a client focused approach.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate excellently (both verbally and written) within a team environment.
- An adaptable approach, working with drive and commitment through busy and fast paced periods.
- Experienced in and comfortable managing data and producing reports/dashboards.
- Highly resilient with a solutions focused mindset.
