About the Role
MG OMD is looking for an Affiliate Manager to join our growing team of affiliate and lead generation specialists working across a varied roster of clients including Nissan, Specsavers, Intuit QuickBooks, Renault and Odeon. The role will manage the Halfords affiliate programme and work closely with other channel disciplines to deliver a best‑in‑class media activity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continually improve the client’s affiliate programme through high‑quality day‑to‑day management and leadership.
- Own the processes and delivery of key affiliate management tasks including reporting, status calls and quarterly business reviews, and align activity, budget, and strategy with wider media channels.
- Drive the wider team forward with knowledge on key industry and agency tools, processes and analytics, using them to benefit our clients.
- Grow and maintain close relationships with top industry publishers and seek out opportunities with new partners.
- Strive for high‑quality and accuracy across all deliverables, both internal and client‑facing.
- Champion excellence in affiliate programme activation for clients and manage junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross‑channel teams across the Omnicom group, including planning, analytics, and finance.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully independently.
- Excellent organisation and strong attention to detail.
- Proficient user of MS Office and industry tools.
- Demonstrable experience of end‑to‑end affiliate and lead generation campaign management.
- Solid understanding of affiliate marketing trends.
- High‑level understanding of affiliate marketing and how it feeds into the wider media mix.
- Working knowledge of major affiliate networks and lead management platforms.
- Proven experience in a management or mentorship role.
- Relationship builder with experience working with clients, networks, and publishers across markets and verticals, with a focus on retail.
- 3+ years of affiliate marketing experience.
