We are seeking a Junior Portfolio Manager with strong analytical skills to support the Fixed Income team in London, with a primary focus on corporate credit. The role will involve assisting in portfolio construction, credit analysis, and investment decision-making, working closely with senior portfolio managers and analysts across the platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of Fixed Income portfolios with a focus on European stock selection
  • Conduct in-depth credit analysis, including financial modelling, issuer fundamentals, and relative value assessments
  • Monitor portfolio positions, performance, and risk exposures (credit, market, and liquidity risk) in line with team frameworks
  • Contribute to investment idea generation, trade recommendations, and portfolio allocation decisions
  • Assist in evaluating primary and secondary market opportunities
  • Collaborate with credit analysts, traders, and risk teams to support execution and portfolio optimisation
  • Maintain and enhance analytical tools, models, and reporting processes
  • Prepare investment materials and portfolio updates for internal stakeholders
  • Support distribution in client facing meetings
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Several years’ experience in an investment-related role (e.g. credit analysis, trading, or portfolio support)
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • CFA Level I; progress towards full CFA designation preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skillset, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in credit markets
  • Proficient in financial modelling, credit analysis, and valuation techniques
  • Strong IT and data skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
