The Global Controls Monitoring team has responsibility for Aladdin Investment Compliance and conducting monitoring of fund manager and dealing controls to provide business challenge and assurance that these obligations are followed. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Partner Lead to oversee end-to-end Aladdin Investment Compliance and Monitoring & Assurance across our Asset Management business. This role provides hands-on accountability for the global delivery of Aladdin Investment Compliance Services and continuous monitoring to their Business Unit.
Key Work Level Accountabilities:
- Facilitate end-to-end Onboarding Pillar for all portfolios within Business Unit
- Completion of the Guideline Feasibility Assessment
- Oversee the delivery of Portfolio Coding & Review Services
- Validate Portfolio Readiness
- KPI & Reporting
- Provide periodic reporting and engagement with Business Units on:
- Service Performance
- Control Performance
- Breaches & Trends
- System & Data Governance
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in financial services risk, sustainability/ESG risk, or stewardship operations.
- Strong knowledge of asset management across asset types and investment strategies.
- Technical regulatory and policy expertise aligned to function/region (e.g. UCITS, AIFDM, 40 Act)
- Aladdin coding expertise and strong understanding of Aladdin capabilities and weaknesses
- Strong understanding of Security Master, data availability and quality
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of product guidelines to support alert investigation and resolution
- Expert knowledge of aligned investment process and common issues faced by business unit/region
- Ability to interpret technical investment, legal and regulatory language in guideline documents.
- Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reporting experience – working skills with excel/PowerPoint/Power BI for an executive audience.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines - under pressure from varied stakeholders.
- An open/effective communication style.
