On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Financial Crime Risk Manager - EWRA for an initial 6-month contract based in London. It will be a hybrid model.

Purpose of the role:
To lead and continuously enhance the Group's Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) framework, ensuring a robust and consistent approach to identifying, assessing, challenging, and aggregating financial crime risks across all business units. The role is responsible for developing financial crime risk methodologies, overseeing key risk registers and screening frameworks, and embedding best practices across the organisation through strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and training.
What you'll do:
Own and maintain the Group Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) framework, ensuring consistent risk assessment, challenge, and aggregation across business units.
Design, implement, and enhance financial crime risk assessment methodologies covering products, clients, markets, third parties, investment counterparties, and distribution partners.
Manage and oversee key financial crime risk registers, including jurisdiction risk ratings, industry risk lists, approved regulators/exchanges, restricted entities, and key risk and control inventories.
Lead governance for Group-wide watchlist management, screening frameworks, exits policies, and re-entry prevention controls.
Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Financial Crime teams to embed frameworks across the organisation through training, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing support.
Provide expert advice on financial crime risk management, ensuring robust governance and effective second-line oversight.
The skills you'll need:
Strong experience in financial crime risk management, enterprise risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to design and implement risk frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working across Risk, Compliance, and business functions.
Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to challenge and drive continuous improvement.
