We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
House Manager to become the heart of the Manor.

The Opportunity
As the House Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Aynsome Manor, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, presentation and guest care are maintained at all times.
Working as a team, you will take ownership of guest hosting, housekeeping operations, breakfast service, reservations administration and the overall upkeep of the property.
This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same, and where attention to detail and genuine hospitality make all the difference.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Acting as the welcoming face of the Manor from guest arrival through to departure.
- Managing check-ins, check-outs and guest communications.
- Building strong relationships with guests and anticipating their needs.
- Providing local recommendations and creating memorable experiences.
- Handling guest requests and resolving any issues professionally and discreetly.
- Managing Housekeeping & Standards
- Ensuring all bedrooms, bathrooms and guest areas are maintained to impeccable standards.
- Overseeing daily housekeeping, room servicing and changeovers.
- Managing laundry, linen and housekeeping supplies.
- Undertaking quality checks and maintaining luxury presentation throughout the property.
- Coordinating maintenance requirements and liaising with contractors where required.
- Breakfast & Hospitality Service
- Preparing and delivering a high-quality breakfast service.
- Ensuring dietary requirements and allergen procedures are adhered to.
- Maintaining refreshment areas and guest amenities.
- Supporting the overall food and beverage experience of the Manor.
- Reservations & Administration
- Managing reservations and guest enquiries across multiple channels.
- Maintaining booking systems and guest records.
- Supporting invoicing, payment processing and daily administration.
- Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.
- Property Care & Team Support
- Taking pride in the overall appearance and upkeep of the Manor and grounds.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintaining operational records and compliance documentation.
- Supporting seasonal and casual team members where required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is warm, personable and genuinely passionate about hospitality.
- Previous experience managing or operating a luxury guest house, boutique hotel, country house, B&B or similar hospitality business.
- Strong guest-facing customer service skills.
- Hands‑on housekeeping experience with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience delivering breakfast or light food and beverage service.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Confidence using booking systems, email and Microsoft Office.
- A flexible, can‑do attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership and create a welcoming home‑from‑home atmosphere for guests.
