THE ROLE
Using discretion and judgment, researches specified industries or global regions to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Independently conducts research in assigned area to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.
- Using research sources such as company literature and financial statements, and various business publications, works independently to structure, develop and communicate investment recommendations.
- Attends conferences, travels to company facilities, and interviews corporate management at all levels. Acts as the in-house expert on designated area of coverage.
- Facilitates team decisions by making final buy and sell decisions, ensuring timely and orderly trade execution and overseeing sector construction.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ Years of relevant Equity Research experience.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Ability to work and think independently, strong numerical and communication skills.
