THE ROLE
Using strong investment and operational knowledge, the Portfolio Specialist team provides 24 hour coverage to the investment teams, and performs a specialized set of duties related to the portfolio management and order entry process. Based on instruction from the portfolio management team, the Portfolio Specialist Lead Specialist will create and prepare equity orders for the Trading department. Using discretion and judgment, assess portfolio complexities, workload and order volumes in order to prioritise and adjust their workflow according to market deadlines and other competing demands from the investment and trading teams. The Portfolio Specialist - Lead Specialist will work closely with operations, equity and fixed income trading and portfolio management to monitor significant upcoming cash flows.
